Your First Appointment

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST VISIT

Your initial visit at Midwest Reproductive Center will begin with one of our Nurse Practitioners.  They will review your medical and reproductive histories, including a thorough review of any testing or treatment they you and /or your partner may have previously undergone.  The Nurse Practitioner will then review the options available for your reproductive treatment.  Dr. Gehlbach will meet with you and perform a diagnostic sonogram to evaluate your uterus.  At that time, he will either recommend a treatment plan or, if necessary order additional tests for you and/or your partner.  After the additional test results are reviewed, a follow-up consultation may be recommended to review your results and to develop a treatment plan designed uniquely for you and your partner.

At your initial visit, you will also meet with the Practice Manager who will review your insurance benefits and the costs for the treatment options recommended for you.

A couple of days after your initial visit, you will receive a telephone call from one of the nurses to review your visit and answer any questions you may have since your visit.
